Iceland 2016

If anyone knows me, they know I’m not one for cold weather and 100 layers of clothes. In fact, I tend to wear the bare minimum.

However, back in December 2016, a few family members and I decided to take a little trip to Iceland. Yes, we were well aware what the temperature was going to be and how many pairs of thermals we would have to take… nonetheless, we still went.

Typically, after coming home from a holiday you have photos of beautiful scenic views including golden sand and deep, blue water, but these holiday snaps were quite different to say the least.

If I’m honest, the whole point of this post is to showcase my amazing photography skills. So, I’m going to get right into it.

  • Reykjavik, Iceland
  • Downtown Reykjavik
  • Reykjavik harbour

The Golden Circle Classic Tour, 8 hours of capturing Instagram content.

  • Þingvellir, National Park

The Blue Lagoon, one of the twenty-five wonders of the world. This was truly the highlight of my trip.

  • Bláa Lónið, Blue Lagoon

I wrote a travel piece on Artefact Magazine about my getaway, read more about my Iceland trip here.
