Review | Nike Tuned, Tn (Air Max Plus)

Let me introduce you to my favourite trainers in the entire world… well not so much introduce you because if you don’t know about these kicks you must live under a rock.

Originating in 1998, Nike’s original sneaker has made a huge comeback over the past few years, Nike’s Air Max Plus, ‘Tuned,’ also known as ‘Tn’s.’

Since the comeback of legendary Tn’s Nike have dropped some wavy colour-ways, I have three different colour-ways, all black- the most common and classic colour, I have a wolf grey x cool grey colour-way and a triple olive (khaki) colour-way.

Funnily enough, only my black ones are comfy, to me.

I’m sure none of you care but the purpose of the air-sole in TN’s are to enable stability and support for runners (and roadmen) when wearing the sneakers.

The revolutionary air-sole feature made its way into Nike’s footwear designs in the late 1970’s and have been added to many sneaker designs since.

I’m not much of a runner and by ‘much’ I mean I’m not a runner at all so I guess many of us, myself included don’t tend to use the shoe to its full potential, but just so you know, it was initially used as a running trainer, not a fashion trainer- in case any of you want to wear them for cardio purposes.

The links to cop the different TN colour-ways that I have are below!

P.S. Yes, I buy most of my trainers from the kids section (Footlocker grade school sizes go up to (U.K.) 6.5).
P.P.S. Remember, you get 10% off at Nike with a UNiDAY’s code.
