Let me tell you about these kicks here, Nike Air Presto’s (the old ones as seen in the picture above, not the new ones without the plastic cage).
The first pair of Presto’s I ever bought were a Grey/White/Navy colourway, they were from the juniors section in Footasylum.
They were that comfortable that I decided to buy the triple-black colourway. I strongly believe every single sneaker looks good in all-black, so it was only right.
I cannot emphasise how comfortable they are, really feels like you’re not wearing any shoes, that’s how light they are.
The model of the sneaker itself features a midfoot cage that offers a supportive fit, as well as, extra cushioning (for all the exercise I never do).
The midsole of the trainer is made from phylon and it includes an air-sole heel, which makes them easy to wear.
I would say, the only down-side to these trainers is that they take a mad amount of effort to physically put on your foot. I have to use two whole bloody hands to put them on my feet and let’s be honest, that’s long for
However, according to Nike, the “stretch bootie” is in fact for a “snug and comfortable” fit. Say nothing.
Nonetheless, if you’re not picky about having to put some elbow grease into putting your sneakers on and you’d like a light-weight, feels-like-you’re-walking-on-air kind of kick then Nike Air Presto’s are for you.
Since Nike Air Presto’s (this shape) is old now it’s hard to locate them at various stores. However, they’re on sale at FOOTASYLUM (mens section).
